Speed to lead: the quiet reason you're losing jobs

When a new lead comes in, the clock starts. Responding in minutes instead of hours changes how many conversations you actually get.

When someone requests a quote, they usually contact more than one business. The first one to respond helpfully often wins the conversation — and the job.

Most owners have never measured their response time. Time it once: submit your own contact form and see how long it takes for anyone to reply.

You don't need to be glued to your phone. An automatic text or email that says 'we got your request and we'll call you by X' buys you time and keeps the lead warm.

Marketing that generates leads you respond to slowly is money half-spent. Fix the response before you buy more leads.
